FS: G&L SB-2 (baby blue, matching headstock)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Y'all,

I'm still fine-tuning the lineup and this is the next one to go on the block. It's a 3-bolt G&L SB-2 in baby blue with a matching headstock, rosewood board and parchment/mint pickguard. OEM controls (vol/vol) and a somewhat worn molded case (at least one push-in foot).

It does have some wear - some dings on the edges of the headstock, a "line" in the body in one spot, a ding or two on the back of the neck. Nothing major and no big spots of missing paint.

$750 shipped in the contiguous 48, paypal OK

I'll get some pics up in the next day or two

trade possiblities:
- Reverend Rumblefish PJ
- G&L fretless SB2 or L2K (1.5" nut width, 9 lbs or less, satin neck, unlined ebony board)
- G&L L2K (1.5" nut width, 9lbs or less, satin neck)

Was this the one on ebay that had the neck binding?

Nope - not that one and no neck binding. I've had two days of chores & errands that didn't give me any time with daylight to take pics. Maybe tomorrow although it's spring break and we're doing a bunch of family activities so I'm guessing 50-50 on getting a few minutes during the day to get pics taken and put up.

there are a couple of smudges on the back corner of the body - the dark smudges, not the white/light things (those are artifacts in the pics, reflections)

There are a couple of "lines" on the front of the body - not through the paint so they are difficult to photograph but you can see them in this pic. If you look at the full bass and body pics you can kind of see them.

The most wear overall is on the headstock. The front edge of the pointy part is chipped off (not uncommon) and there are plenty of smudges/marks where it has been bumped into things.

Overall it's very solid and everything (truss rod, hardware) works smoothly.

bathroom scale says 9.4lbs
