Here we have a nice sample of the Indonesian SB-2 in Metallic Bordeaux with custom pickguard.
This is my first G&L and I must say I am very impressed! Truth be known, this was about to displace every passive 4 string in my collection .... until I came across a mint Lakland Skyline Hollowbody with Darkstars yesterday that I just could not pass up (damn GAS!). Now I need to clean house to pay for it.
I just bought this bass from slap-a-da-bass. Here are some photos from his sale (thanks again Paul!). Note that in person the color is much more burgundy and less red. I am not normally a fan of red basses, but I really like this metallic wine color -- and the G&L finish is fantastic.
Everything I had read about this bass is true. It is a killer rock machine. I will own another one at some point.
In the interest of a quick sale, I'll let this roll for $295 plus shipping!.
