FS: G&L SB2 (copper, matching headstock, like new)

Hey Y'all,

Don't be surprised if I pull this down (again) - it's a great bass and I really have difficulty with the idea of letting it go but I'm limiting myself to 6 basses (plenty for a weekend hack like me) and want to add a fretless back into the mix. I like every bass I have now but this is the one I think I can let go to get a fretless.

It's a very recent SB2 in spanish copper metallic over an alder body (9.2lbs). Satin neck with a rosewood board with no face dots - standard SB2 #8 dimensions (1.5" nut width, 12" radius). Matching headstock and tort guard we a couple of purely cosmetic upgrades I went for (and I think work very nicely). I modded the controls to a stacked master-vol/j-pickup-vol and tone.

Like new condition (and I don't say that lightly) with a tolex G&L case and the case candy, COA, etc.

$950 $895 shipped in the contiguous 48, paypal OK

I will do international - PM me for how much more for shipping and my international deal requirements

I'm not looking for much in trade but the the things I can think of are:
- G&L fretless: SB2 or L2K, 1.5" nut width, satin neck, unlined ebony board and 9 lbs or less
- ETA (engine turned aluminum) Rumblefish
- An inexpensive SB1 or SB2 (Tribute would be fine) w/1.5" nut width under 9lbs might also catch my attention
- maybe a Line6 M9 or Boss ME-50B
- Audiokinesis Thunderchild cab
- maybe an Ampeg PF-500
- maybe an EBMM Sterling HH or SLO Stingray HH

Great color and I love it with the tort guard. Wish I had a fretless to trade you!

Man I REEEEALLY want this....
Spanish Copper is my favorite G&L Color.
I have an as New ASAT Fretless with UNlined ebony fretboard...
But really do not want to let that go.
I will do some head scratching to see if I can get the Cash together for her

One of the hottest looking SB2's ever bump! That just smokes with the tort guard & matching headstock.

added a few ideas to the trades - I have an SB2 modification I'd like to try out and an inexpensive SB1/SB2 (Tribute would be perfect) would be a way to occupy myself for a while (I'm not modding this beauty beyond the control mods I've already done)

Yes, turn the J pickup vol all the way down and the master vol is the P pickup. The J pickup cannot be used by itself in this configuration.

If the purchaser desires I can rewire it to stacked P-vol/J-vol and tone instead of the way it is before shipping (I essentially just have to move one wire).
