Here we have a G&L Tribute L2500 in great shape. Ash body, rosewood board, just a killer bass. I am the original owner, and she's been well cared for. There might be a ding here and there that comes from normal use, but nothing major and if there is anything you'll really have to look for it. One of the tuner posts has some chrome flaking off, but you can't see it once it's strung up.
It has a new GraphTech nut, new Curt Mangan strings, and includes the original (very nice!) G&L gigbag.
I did two mods to this bass:
Single coil mod. Each pickup has a series/parallel/single coil switch so you can get an endless array of sounds. You can get any combination of coils you want, since each pickup has it's own switch!
Wider spacing mod. This bass has 18mm spacing which makes a HUGE improvement in playability! Basically there are just shims (I used thin pick material) in between the saddles which spreads them out a little bit. Don't like it? Loosen the set screw, lift up the saddle, pop out the shim with a little screwdriver. They are glued to keep them solid, but they will pop right off. Tighten set screw, you're back to narrow spacing.
I would LOVE to do a local-ish deal on this bass. I am in the upstate of South Carolina about an hour from Greenville, Augusta, or Columbia. We can meet there, or anywhere in between.
Price is $400 if we can do a face to face deal. Trades? Not really looking, but you know what? Try me. You never know. Basses, guitars, I'd actually like to have a nice acoustic/electric guitar, amps. I really need the cash, but try me. Any trades would have to be face to face, I will not ship for a trade.
