FS - G&L Tribute SB-2 - $275 shipped

I recently bought this bass from a fellow talkbasser as I've been curious about them. Well, I've scratched that itch and it's on to the next irritation...

The Good:

It's plays and sounds great. The split p-pickup is really strong and more 'rude' than my 1963 Fender Precision Bass. The bridge jazz pickup matches the volume of the split-p pickup well and adds some bite and burp when blended or soloed. This bass is lighter than my G&L Tribute L-2000 at about 8.5 lbs. i really like the narrow jazz width neck and the frets are in great shape with no real visible wear.

The Not So Bad:

It's got a healthy ding/chip on the lower body near the controls as shown in the pic. Other than that, it has just light players wear.

$275 shipped conus

Thanks for looking!

I owned this bass once, was tempted to do the stacked tone control mod but sold it instead.

I am tempted again. Damn you gas!

yeah, i'm being tempted to do a sb2/l2k smash up with it and replace the bridge pup with an mfd bucker and install the other mfd bucker mudbucker fashion. all passive with just a pickup switch and master volume and tone...
