FS G&L USA JAZZ BASS *ALMOST NEW*

Sign in to disble this ad
Probably one of the best 4 string jazz basses that I have owned and definitely a looker. This bass plays and feels better than basses that cost twice as much. It is solid, yet not too heavy. Although the exposure might have been just a little bit off in the pictures, it is a signature turquoise model in color. This bass has 0 signs of being played. I got it and wasn't able to play it right away and then ended up leaving it in the G&L HSC (which will be included). As you can see I kept the tags on the bass and think whomever bring this one home will be very happy. If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me a PM...

My asking price on this bass is $975 and will include shipping in the CONUS and the G&L HSC.

Specs:

PICKUPS:
• 2 G&L vintage Alnico jazz pickups

BODY WOOD:
• Swamp Ash

NECK WOOD:
• Hard Rock Maple with Rosewood fingerboard

NECK RADIUS:
• 12" (304.8mm)

NECK WIDTH AT NUT:
• 1 1/2" (38.1mm)

TUNING KEYS:
• Custom G&L Hipshot "Ultra-Lite" with aluminum tapered string posts

BRIDGE:
• G&L Saddle Lock with chrome-plated brass saddles

CONTROLS:
• Two volume controls, one tone control

OTHER:
• Chrome hardware, Deluxe Hardshell Tolex Case w/Fitted Interior (Included)

Eye Candy:

These are fantastic basses for the money. The neck on my USA JB feels thin, fast, comfortable.....simply fantastic. I thought these were all alder bodies(unless ordered special) anyway this is a great deal.....

Ekim,

I would say that it is very close to the Bel Air. I didn't call it out because the color wasn't noted in the paperwork from the previous owner, but based on my experience with Bel Air and if you google it you will see that is definitely the closest color tone. Best of luck, this one really is getting a lot of attention, more than I though it would. Guess there are some true vintage lovers This one isn't vintage but it would have looked great back in 1977.

I don't have an issue with it, but I have never shipped internationally. If you pay for shipping and pay full price I will figure it out...

there are some nice sound clips of this model on YT!

Ed, the Whispering, has a clip of the rustic version.

Bass Central has a demo up, also!

(bump for a great sounding looker)

Do you get the traditional jazz bass single coil noise on the G&L's?

I never have with this one. I plugged this one into my DB751 last night just to see how she sounded and I am working on recording a few clips for the sale and I didn't her any coil noise.
