I know very little about this bass. I picked it up when I needed a back up when my bass was in the shop. This was the cheapest bass in the shop that actually played and sounded fairly decent. It has a fairly standard passive Jazz-type tone. It's a little heavy, but not as much as most of the acrylic instruments that I have seen.
No case or gig bag, but it will be packed well.
