I'd like to sell this Gibson Bass V I got from another TB'er a couple months ago as an alternative to my quest for a Gibson Tbird Studio V. I think it's a '87, I'll run the serial number and verify that. It's a really nice bass - plays excellently and sounds awesome...very Tbird-esque, but I just cant warm up to the body style. I want to be cash ready for the next Tbird V that comes along, and I've got a Rogue LX405 that will get me by untill then.
It's got a preamp very nicely installed that definately gives it some extra punch, other than that it's all original and in good condition with a few nicks on the body and headstock. I don't have the original case, but I do have a hardshell Coffin case for it. I'm asking $650 shipped CONUS.
I also would consider a trade - up with some $$$ to a Tbird V of course, or possibly a Fender Jazz Special, try me with any offer if you'd like.
