FS: Gibson Les Paul Bass LPB-3 REDUCED!

Hurts me to do it, but I gotta put my Les Paul bass up for sale to pay some bills.

It is in excellent condition and comes with the original case (also in excellent condition), manual, and adjustment tools.

Some specifications from Gibson:
- Mahogany body with Maple Top
- Mahogany set neck with 50's round taper profile
- Trapezoid inlays
- Nitrocellulose finish
- 34 inch scale
- Ebony fingerboard
- TB+ ceramic humbuckers

The pickup covers are actually shiny chrome. The angle of the pictures makes them look black.

$1600 $1550 $1500 shipped conus, paypal accepted

Sorry, but not interested in trades.

Bump for a beautiful honeyburst. GLWTS

IronLung1986 03-11-2013 10:57 AM

is that a warwick bridge/tailpiece? what's the story there?

mcontour 03-11-2013 11:07 AM

This is factory stock. Very solid bridge and tail piece that has a wide range of adjustment on each string.

The newer Les Paul Basses and a more traditional tunomatic style bridge with limited range for intonation and string height.

More photos added....price reduced.....what more could you ask for??

The bass is in as-new condition....try and find another one like it if you can. ;)

Cheers.

I'd be selling one of those Dingwalls or the ASAT before letting go of that sweet LPB-3, but that's just me. This bass rocks! The version of the TB+ humbuckers in it are some of the best pickups Gibson ever made.

mcontour 03-13-2013 03:41 PM

Well, if the Dingwalls were mine this would be a different discussion. They are not mine..

The ASAT in my photo has some history and won't be leaving the stable any time soon.

Yes, the Les Paul totally rocks. I've never had the guts to take it out of the house.....hence it's condition.

This guy runs his with an Aguilar OPB3 but it's still an impressive demo of what these basses are capable of...

What year is this bass? Thanks.

mcontour 03-14-2013 04:59 PM

I don't know for sure, but I think it's a 2005. In any case, you can see the serial number in one photo. Perhaps someone can point to a lookup location??

DerrickSmalls 03-14-2013 05:09 PM

It is indeed a 2005 sir. Thanks!

Still available.

Dropped price one more time, but this will be the bottom. :hmm:

May have to put some other guitars or amps up for sale if this precious gem doesn't find a new home some.. :help:

Cheers...
