Wonderful bass bought November of this year. I do not believe there is a single scratch or wear mark anywhere on the bass
If it's so wonderful why are you selling it dude.... well I was/am a bass guitarist who wanted to take on double bass as well. Thought getting a fretless would help. I think I was in denial about the cost of an upright bass as well as the skill carryover between fretless BG and DB (almost none)
Finally progressed to the point of getting rid of the rental double bass and ordered an Upton. May wallet is in massive shock and everything but my main fretted bass must go to pay for the the upright.
Wonderful semi acoustic - great for practicing unplugged (as long as you are alone). If you are not familiar do a search for "Poor Mans Mouse" which will give you comparisons against Rob Allen's 3k Mouse basses.
Comes with all paperwork and Godin softshell case

Asking $900 shipped CONUS.

Premium wood, craftsmanship, and MIDI-capable electronics land this fretless bass in a class all its own.
This Godin A4 SA fretless bass features endless sonic possibilities brought to you by Custom Godin electronics. It comes equipped with individual saddle transducers at the bridge and a 13-pin connector for direct control of Roland GR Series and Axon AX100 guitar synths.
The Godin bass features a solid spruce top, for balanced sound reproduction. The silver leaf maple body adds strength and clarity to the A4 bass's sound. The rock maple neck adds plenty of sustain and definition from note to note. The soft C neck, cutaway on the Godin A4 SA fretless bass's upper bout, and 16" radius add comfort for intricate progressions.
Incredible acoustic bass sounds are available through the Godin A4's 1/4" output jack and controlling your tone is made easy with the custom Godin preamp section voiced specifically for the A4 SA bass. The 2-chambered body design found in all of the A-Series instruments is also at work in the A4 SA bass. This design resists feedback as well as the negative effects that loud stage levels can have on top vibration. The Lace Sensor low profile bridge pickup and side-mounted tone and volume controls reproduce and amplify your sound with natural-sounding clarity and dynamics.
Dressed in a semi gloss finish and featuring black hardware, the Godin A4 acoustic-electric bass has the natural look and feel of an acoustic bass, with a bold amplified sound that will blow you away.
