FS: Gorgeous '94 Vintage-Burst Stingray 4H with Flea Bridge & Beautiful Maple Neck

Sign in to disble this ad
Here's a '94 Ray in Vintage-Burst up for grabs. This is from the era of the high-mass "Flea" transition mute-bridge. There is just something bad-ass about these early 90s Rays. The tone, the feel, the look. Definitely my favorite era and I've collected many. The recent addition of a killer late 94 Sunburst Ray, however, has me thinning the collection.

There is some definite mojo/wear present, but all in all, its in stellar shape for a 17 year old workhorse!
3-band EQ and Schaller BM tuners on a nicely figured maple/maple neck with a smattering of birdseye completes the package.

Just set her up last night as well. Action and truss adjusted to spec and intonation dialed in perfectly.

Edit: I also installed brand new mutes (see pic in post #5).

It will ship in a brand new molded Music Man HSC for $900 -OR- $820 without the case. ConUS please. No trades please!

I won't be able to ship between 7/2 and 7/10 as I will be on vacation but I will have access to emails and TB. So if you want this pronto, get yer order in!

I'll try to get some more representative pics up as the Vintage-Burst is more of a deep red edge as opposed to the darker almost blackish edge shown below. I'll also get some picks of the neck and headstock as it is gorgeous, but until then, here's some old pics:

Thanks for looking!

I guess this finish has to be seen to be believed because try as I might, I still can't capture that deep red edge!
