The bass sounds terrrific. I love the instrument, but I am a very new player (started in January) and am trying to reduce the variables, as it were, to learn how to play. Fretless is not helping me in my learning process, to be honest. When (if) I get to be a decent player, I will order a custom from Mr. Clement, whose craftsmanship is simply outstanding.
