hey all,
I had 8 basses last month, my wife is losing her job this week, so honestly a lot of these guys haven't been played in ages as I haven't been in a band for about 7 years. I sold one last month and now comes the next. This Hamer is no closet classic, it's been played out and has a few less than perfect spots. I changed out the pickups to Fender Noiseless as I remember years back when the FMT's came out I just loved the sound of the pickups. I then had an East U-retro added, it was initially purchased off the Dudepit and last year sent back to John for an upgrade. Passive it sounds like a great Jbass....active the mid is adjustable so you can dial in numerous sounds...from hi-fi sheen to dub. This can get pretty close to the Geddy Lee sound if that's your inclination. The bridge gives it piano tone clarity. I have black U-retro knobs that I recently found for this that I can throw in. I'd like to get 760 shipped.
