I'm selling my Hamer Cruise Bass 5 with the 2Tek bridge.

The bass currently has a set of aftermarket EMG Jazz pickups in it that sound great. Other than that, there have been no modifications done to the instrument.

The finish is in about 7.5/10 condition-it had an unfortunate encounter with my desk that put a smack in the finish on the elbow contour. The finish remained intact at that spot, but there is a visible ding there. There's also some minor flaking in the finish on the edge of the fretboard. Other than that, there's some minor play wear, but nothing that detracts from the appearance of the bass overall. Frets are in great condition, and the bass can take a nice, low action with no issue.

The bass weighs in at 10 pounds even.

The bass includes the stock Hamer truss rod adjustment tool and the well-built TKL/Hamer HSC.

I'm asking $550 obo plus shipping, which is an absolute steal for a bass of this quality.

Please PM me or post in the thread with any questions. I'll get a better pic of the flaws in the finish when I can.

Pictures of the finish flaw, as promised:

These were taken in the absolute harshest light possible so that it was made most visible. You can't see it from 5 feet away, and it's covered by your arm when playing.

Is this a USA made Hamer? Does it have a hard case?

Why is this still here?

I bought mine thinking "I never play 5-strings, but I have heard good things about this and it is too good a bargain to pass up. I will try it out, and then probably resell it, or trade it for a 4-string."

Well, that's what I THOUGHT I would do. Then I played it. Thunder tone with lightning neck. Faster to play than even my best 4. Now I am KEEPING it.

It sure looks USA to me. I've had a few Hamers and all of them are excellent basses.
