Super nice USA Hamer Cruisebass in custom color...Seafoam Green!
Super mint condition with no issues, no high frets, no fret wear, and no hardware issues. Fantastic Gotoh bridge with Vintage Vibe single coil pickups with shielded wires ( http://www.vintagevibeguitars.com/windows/jbassWin.html). Comes with OHSC and truss rod tool...has hang tags and all! This was a non-factory produced color and it is original to the bass. Beautiful Seafoam Green! I'll get more pics up tonight after I get off work.
I paid $799 for the bass plus the cost of the pickups! This will smoke many J basses out there and these Vintage Vibe pickups are the real deal...sound better than Fralins and Seymour Duncan Antiquities to me. I am only selling because my wife and I are moving and I want more $ to have for a down payment on a home where we are moving. I can get by with just one bass...I can...I can...I can do it. PRICE: $725 shipped! I am asking less than what the bass cost me just over one month ago. This bass is worth double the asking price...no joke.

I am curious, is the first digit of your serial number also a 6 ?
I bought it from the original owner, who bought it in '97 as the factory was moving from IL and they were clearing everything out, including some prototypes. He worked at a music store and was able to buy this prototype along with one other in clear Emerald Green, of which the sales rep said only 12 were made. Positively COMMON compared to the Seafoam, which he was told was the ONLY one. I see now there were at least one with each bridge.
Mine has the 2-TEK bridge. It had been originally a lined fretless, but I just swapped necks with TBer lonote 2 weeks ago so, now I have my frets! I would probably have left it stock (fretless that is) except that mine had already been modified with new electronics, pickguard and some hardware.
Mine is definitely NOT for sale -- I absolutely love both the playability and the tone. I want to do a thread on it when I finish making my pickguard.
Anyone looking at this one can rest assured it is NOT a refin, although the color was never produced. If I had the money, I'd buy this without blinking an eye. Good luck with the sale!

Mine would be my only bass and wouldn't be for sale if I didn't have more money in it than my Yamaha BB1200, and know I could get more for this one to go towards our down payment on our upcoming mortgage.
Thanks!!!

While I have seen mine look just like that when I have too much flash on the camera, only someone who has seen the color before would be able to recognize it in that pic.
I think with this color it might be better to post a photo with too little light than too much.
