Need a jazz bass? Buy this and don't look back! Wish I had money right now!
Edit: I might have to put something up for sale..... I've always wanted this bass with the Gotoh.
'95? Case?

Man, this is tempting.

These are KILLER J basses! Boutique quality without the hefty price tag. Better than any US Fender you'll play. IMO.

Also, I love a matching headstock!

I have this bass in metallic red. KILLER--lately I have been digging it more than my Cruise 2-Tek.

I prefer the Gotoh to the 2Tek for the fretted versions and vice versa for the fretless.

The 2Tek moves the tone away from the traditional jazz sound we are accustom to IMO. On the fretless the individual nature of the 2Tek saddles lead to a cleaner sound with less sympathetic overtones, which is great for single note, elongated mwah lines.

Christmas Eve's Eve's morning bump

Apparently this is a rare custom color I've been told, had no idea.

Bump for a good deal on a near-mint USA Cruisebass. And the weight is a big plus also IMO. I have not tried the Gotoh version but the craftsmanship on my 2TEK can't be beat and I have always heard the same of the Gotohs..
