FS-Heavily Modded Cort GB75 Lakland Clone

This ia a Cort GB75 that is as close to a Lakland as can be. Built in the Korean factory where the Lakland Skylines were built before all operations were moved to Indonesia where Cort builds the new Skyline models. This started life as an Open Pore GB75. Body is swamp ash with a white poly finish that resembles the types of finishes Sandberg is putting on some of their models. The grain of the wood can be felt and seen through the paint. Very unique. All of the stock electronics were removed and replaced with Lakland USA pickups and an Aguilar 18 volt OBP2 preamp, (V V Bass, Treble and 3 way coil splitter)fully shielded cavities, pickguard has no screw holes and is held on by two sided tape, Hipshot hardware and tuners, straight neck, reshaped headstock that resembles a Lakland headstock. The neck is 34" scale w/ 22 frets and 19mm string spacing and adjustable. The weight is 9 lbs on a very accurate scale. This is a one of a kind bass and is beautiful, visually and tonally. I have $600 in the bass but will take $500 shipped to conus only. No trades and please don't ask thank you. Will be shipped with a gig bag and it has new LaBella Supersteps strings on it.

Very tempting! The only thing I didn't seem to get along with on my old Lakland 5's was the 35" scale......
