Culling the herd due to a move. Will consider bulk discounts, but no trades please. Prices are shipped.
1979 Jetglo 4000 - In absolutely mint condition, collector quality. A little punchier than other models due to the set neck, and the neck is faster too, but no rick-o-sound option. Comes with OHSC also in perfect condition - $1750
1979 4001 Fireglo - This bass some dings, but in good shape for its age - you don't notice the wear on the excellent finish, only on close inspection. The Treble Volume writing has worn off that knob, but it's pretty obvious which one it is. Awesome vintage 4001 tone. Another great condition OHSC for another killer vintage Ric - $1750.
1979 4001 Burgundy - This one has some significant play wear; aside from the expected dings there is a major paint scratch on the back, and this one has the Bass Tone knob writing worn off (again, obvious which it is). It's unfortunate, as it's my favourite finish, but it plays just as well - no difference in tone between it and the Fireglo. The case is beat up as all hell, but it holds together, and is claimed to be original, but I can't verify this so it's not a confirmed claim. It's fairly battle-worn, but it's another great vintage bass - $1750.
Neither of the 4001s have pickup covers fitted as original, but both have modern replacements included if you wish to attach them.
2009 4003 Mapleglo - This bass is in great condition, almost as new - a couple of shop floor little dings. Really nice grain on the maple. It's post-2006, so it has the vintage tone option. It's your typical great-sounding modern Ric, with strong OHSC - $1450.
2010 As new, shop use only Midnight Blue, again with the vintage tone option, and OHSC - $1550. [Fireglo SOLD, Blue still available]
