FS: Highway One P -$550 OBO shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
I just picked up a new Tribute L-2000 and this one is the one to go this time around. It's a 2006 sunburst Highway One Pbass. I have replaced the pots with CTS pots and modified the wiring to a standard Pbass VT. I still have all of the stuff that I pulled out from the original Greasebucket set-up and will include this in the sale. It currently has a mint pickguard installed but I will include the original white as well. It's in excellent shape with normal surface scratches from use. Will ship in a generic gig bag.

Schaller straplocks installed.

The pic shows it strung with LaBella Flats, but it currently is set up with relatively new D'addario roundwounds.

Nut width: ~1.6
Weight: 9lbs. 2 oz

$550 $500 OBO shipped to the lower 48

Do these have the string-through-body or toploader bridge? Thanks.

You can't best these Basses for the price. Great tone and everyone I played felt great. Somebody jump on this before I do something stupid and buy another Bass ! ! !

They were doing nitro finish on these in 2006? I thought they started that a couple of years later. Nice!

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the nitro finish came in 2006 with the revamped Highway One (not sure what was used before that).

By the way, I dug up a black pickguard that I had on this at one time and will include in a sale as well. So, bottom line is if you by the 2 pickguards I have listed in this ad (1 black and 1 white) for $550, I'll throw in the bass with the mint pickguard for free!

I've got a '05 P Highway without Badass and with nitro finish.

Thanks for the info. Maybe it was just the change to the Badass bridge in '06?

I do, and I love these strings, so I put them away when I put the rounds on and was planning to use them in the future. What are you thinking?

While I do love the strings and I will probably mourn for weeks after, I would force myself to include them in the sale if that's what it takes to get this bass sold!
