This bass was built by Ron Couts for the 2007 Namm show.
It's a very nice playing and great sounding jazz bass. Perhaps the biggest attention getter is the paint job on the back of the bass which always gets comments. It's unusual but I've grown to like it a lot in the time I've had this bass.
34" scale birds eye maple neck with black blocks and binding.
Aero pickups in 70s position with Audere 3ZB preamp.
Swamp ash chambered body with mytle burl top.
Hand carved raised 'pickguard' on body.
Unique neck joint cover that gives more of a neck-thru feel.
Weight is 10lbs.
