{OK, NOW FINAL!} PRICE DROP!! Now $300 shipped ConUS!
This is one of the original Hohner/Steinberger Licensed Basses, not one of the ones Hohner sells now. Fantastic travel bass.
4 string double-ball end design with 40:1 ratio tuners, passive EMG Pickups, VVT controls, fully adjustable and locking bridge pieces. 34" scale, 18mm spacing at the bridge, nice narrow neck at the end.
Comes with a gig bag - I've also installed Jim Dunlop flushmount stracklocks - I've found on many Steinberger paddle type basses I've owned over the years the flush mount straplock right behind the neck helps with the 'tip-forward' problem associated with this design. I'll include the strap end parts with the sale.
The bass has it's share of dings in the finish - it's been a workhorse and a player for sure. I've only owned this one for a few months, and need to thin the herd to take care of some home repair bills - cutting back to bare minimum needed basses for a while.
I love the passive EMG's in this bass - when they 1st came out (around 1986 or so) I bought and owned this same bass - well, not THIS one, but a red passive B2. Since then I've owned a multitude of Hohner and Spirit and Cort Steiny knockoffs, and besides spending a few $100 on pickup/pre 'upgrades', this is my favorite stock sound - punchy, full, no noise, and no battery to worry about failing.
Asking $300 shipped, Con US, PayPal or USPS Money Order.

Just heckling. I've been subbed since it was posted. Money, money, money... | Hey, I've owned about 3 different basses I've owned and sold 3 of (this, 5 string Hohner B2A V, Lakland 55-01), and about 5-6 I've owned and sold 2 of (Steinberger Spirit XZ 5 string, Danelectro Longhorn, Danelectro Rumour, G&L Tribute L2500, Samick Artist 6 string) - just cuz I'm fickle doesn't mean they're not decent instruments! |

Sorry to hear that - that sucks! No, this one came to me from California. Seems to have been a popular color, though. |
