SOLD!!! Price Drop for quick sale!!! Need to move ASAP!!!
For sale is my Hohner Steinberger type 5 string bass. I've always been a huge fan of these, owned a few Hohners and Steinbergers over the years, but since I got my Status Stealth this one doesn't get any play, so it's time to move it to someone who will use and appreciate her!
I just put on a new set of LaBella Double-Ball end round wound strings, will include the set I just took off also. This one has installed the Dunlop recessed strap locks, the strap part of the locks will be included. The Hohners usually come with a fairly lightwieght gig bag, this one has a real nice heavy duty Steinberger bag.
The bass has 2 EMG Select Jazz Style 5 string pickups, and the preamp is active but can be bypassed for passive operation. Even in passive mode, this has a nice output and sound. There is a pot that allows you to balance the level of the active to the passive, and an LED on the front that tells you when you're in active mode and also when your battery is dead/dying.
She's in very nice shape, 2 small dings and a small scratch on the top, a few dings or bumps on the back of the neck, nothing through the finish, but you can feel them when you rub your hand along it. The flip-out leg rest is intact and functional, but it's not 'tight' - it does tend to move or flop a little bit when in the closed position.
Looking for $430.00 Shipped Con US - PayPal or Postal Money Order accepted. - New lower price!!!!
Thanks!

And the quality of the wood Hohners are much better (IMHO) over the Steinberger Spirit wood versions.
It's a great player, someone will be very happy with it. |

Many tonal possibilities, great Walnut look, compact size.... you NEED this! LOL! |

Why, sure you can - local pickup and it's an even $400 - how can you pass up the chance to SAVE $30?? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
