I re-acquired this bass, but have no real use for it. I'm a five string guy, what can I say?
NEW PICS ADDED!
Hohner JJ Jazz bass
20 fret maple neck, rosewood board. Micro tilt neck adjust as well
Active EQ (2 band) with bypass. Pickups are made by EMG (selects, in a Hohner shell)
??? Body wood with flamed veneer top
Weighs 10.4 lbs
Includes gig bag (decent one, too!)
Has Rotosound Flatwounds installed
Includes a (reshaped) pickguard (never drilled in or even taped! It's from a Squier, too, so Fender/Squier parts fit)
I just cleaned the hell out of the neck, polished frets, smoothed the edges and made it feel amazing.
Electronics were gone over and I fixed all weak solder points.
It's a killer bass for the money. The neck is kinda huge as J necks go... it's more P-like and has a bit of girth. But it stays in true and plays great! If you hate it... Fender necks fit it!
$150 shipped to the US 48, Paypal. PM if elsewhere and interested.
(I hate indoor pics with my camera, but I edited these to make it as close to real looking as I could)
