SOLD! Buying a Valenti fire sale! I just put down my deposit on a bass from Nino, and I also got raped on my taxes, so I want to sell off all superfluous gear to finance the pay-off in the next 3-4 months. This bass is of fantastic quality, plays great and buzz-free with super-low action, but I really don't ever use a five, so this can go. The neck is sturdy and comfortable. The B is clear, defined, and powerful. There are a few scratches in the clear coat (a small one on the face, the rest are on the back, all were there when I bought the bass) that really don't show up in the pictures. Also, when I bought the bass (used), the pickup adjustment screws were in various states of head-mutilation. I got out the worst offender (had to file a new slot to get it out, it was so mangled, and put a scratch on the pickup cover in the process), but never replaced them, due to lack of necessity (like I said, I really don't ever play a five). Sorry.

5 string (currently strung with DR Hi Beams), 34" scale
24 frets, nickel-silver, medium-jumbo
graphite nut with zero fret
45 mm nut width, adjustable string spacing at the bridge (currently set to 19mm)
recessed low profile tuning machines
contoured swamp ash body, natural finish
3 piece rock maple neck (slim profile) w/ 6-bolt neck joint & dual action truss rod
rosewood fingerboard and headstock veneer
2 Delano MM-style humbuckers
coil tap switch
active Glockenklang 9v 3 band preamp
passive mode (push-pull volume pot) with passive tone control via treble knob
includes heavy duty Human Base gig bag with pockets and backpack straps, as well as a velcro neck support
Has protective film installed over "slap zone" and "thumb rest zone"
Weight approx. 9 1/2 lb.

$750 shipped and insured in the lower 48, paypal preferred. Not interested in any basses, amps, or cabs, but I might be interested in partial trades of higher end envelope filters.

I have the 4-string version. These basses sound great and have really fast necks.

Just took it in the mouth from Uncle Sam, so I'm dropping the price on this significantly.

I don't mind shipping anywhere as long as the shipping differential is covered.
