FS: Ibanez Ashula fret/less hybrid Bass!!!

This is one of the best basses I have ever played. Great jazz bass tone and you get both fretted and fretless. This does not that your typical ibanez 6 string bridge spacing. Rather it has 19mm spacing.
It's basically a 4 string fretted bass with am attached 2 string fretless bass strung D & G.
So the bass is tuned E A D G (fretted) D G (fretless)

Bass is incredibly light at 8.1 lbs

Beautiful white washed ash body. Bulbinga/jabuta neck with rosewood board.
The pre is a bit odd. The fretted side has vol/bal/treble/bass and the fretless pickup is vol/tone
It's great because you cab blend both to work together great!
It comes with a custom case by ibanez, case candy, instruction book, and did I mention the ibanez logo is stitched to the case and it also has a very comfy leather handle.
The neck on this bass is awesome. Thinnest neck on a 6 string bass I ever touched.

Price: $800.00 shipped to the lower 48 states.

No trades please. I have too many basses at the moment.

Very cool bass. Could you tell me what's going on with that middle bass in the last picture?

Never seen one of these before. Very unusual bass! Hit me up if you are looking for any guitar trades/partial trades.

Definitely an odd and unique piece. Awesome tone though. I wish ibanez would make a fretless just like this without the frets or a 4 string fretted version of this bass would be sweet too

bump

these things are so cool. I've watched just about every video of them on youtube. I can't buy one though without trying it first, as I'm typically a 4 string user.

I wish they'd make a 4 string with those pickups under $1,000. Or sell the pickups aftermarket. The new grooveline has the same pickups, but those are over $2,000...

Still interested...

I still want it - I just haven't heard from the TBer that says he wants my Roscoe. Need to sell that to get the $$ to do this.
