People have named this bass "the Stingray Killer!"
It doesn't kill my Ray but it is a solid bass. I wanted a bass that I could easily gig with in case the Ray went down or I didn't want to take the Ray to a certain gig. It has exceeded my expectations as far as cost and quality are concerned. So is it better than a Stingray? No, but you can easily tell that's what influenced it's designers and it performs very well.
The bass tunes well, holds tuning well, and sets up well. This bass will out do other foreign basses with ease!
I bought this bass from tber waterboy maybe a month ago? Since that time it has sat in my guitar rack and pretty much got zero use. At worst there is very light players wear. The bass is in great condition and comes with new D'Addario strings installed. Plastic still on the back cavities.
I'm finishing up grad school and other than playing at church, I'm not gigging much. With an upcoming move, I could use the cash more than the bass. It sits in the stand and gets no love, so it needs to go to someone that will use it!
Price: $275.00 shipped ConUS!
Here's a cool video I watched on youtube to get an idea of the tone of the bass. It really is capable of producing some great tones with that single pickup!
