For sale is my Ibby ATK3EX1. These were a special model that Ibanez made for Guitar Center. This is identical to the ATK300 except for the black on black aesthetic and the graphite nut, as far as I recall.
For the uninitiated, the Ibanez ATK is the poor man's MusicMan Stingray. It has a triple coil humbucker with a coil tap that allows you to get some more tonal variety out of the single pickup, and has a pretty sweet 3 band eq. It has a high mass bridge and can be strung either through the bridge or through the body. ATKs were introduced in the early 90's and then off the market in the US until 2005 when Ibanez reintroduced them. This is the newer run with the Ernie Ball MusicMan rotary style truss rod adjuster at the heel of the neck as shown below.
This bass is in excellent overall condition. There is a small scratch on the back by the horn, and some buckle scratching that I tried to picture. There is also one small compression ding by the lower strap button as pictured.
Overall this bass is a great looker, has the original electronics control diagram on it, and the action is to die for. VERY low and clean for some licks and fast popping if that is your thing.
Asking $SOLD shipped in the CONUS. Ample pictures below but please PM if you have any questions.
Thanks.
