FS: Ibanez ATK 700 in natural quilted , near mint, $350 shipped CONUS

This Ibanez came to me from a fellow TB'er in a trade some time ago. Korean made. Its is near mint, I'd say a 8.5 out of 10 only due to the light fingernail scratches on the front, and two small surface scratches on the back. There is no "belt rash" per se.

No other dings, etc. Its pretty immaculate. Action set low low, no fret issues, neck is straight ( maybe too straight for some!) and frets are mint. Action can go lower than I have irt set.

I love the versatility of the bass, and its natural modern sound. Its the only bass in my mix that does that "Wooten-esque" voice well, yet can morph into a big humbucker, an MM, or even a reasonable single coil. And its the prettiest.

Being a dedicated 5 string player, the bass gets no love, and I have to pony up $$ for the Reverend I just bought off Chef, so no trades please.

Pics will be up soon, but its a typical 700 in near mint condition. Beautiful natural wood finish on body and headstock, nice maple board. You choose heavy Gator gig bag or MF brand tweed hard case for shipping.

34" 4 string / 22 fret / C type neck profile
Active 3 band EQ / phase switch/ master volume

$350 firm shipped CONUS .

My photo host is being uncooperative. I have a few pics and can email them out. Thanks for looking, even though you can't see this beauty!

Hey BuffaloBass; I sold you that bass, and it is a great one. I miss it very much (tho happy with our deal!) If I had any scratch I'd buy it back! BTW, I now have a GPS (LOL).

Yeah, I wish I wasnt parting with it, but I have to fund the "holy grail" of passive 5 strings.

Have been sending the pics out, sorry about the photo hosting thing.

This youboob does a good job at the "modern" sound of the ATK700.

Any pics? You say it's spalted but I've only seen the quilted ATK700's.

It's a quilt not a spalt bump.

She's definitely a beaut though.

Quilt, spalt, its all too blingy for me, although I long for a deep purple candy paint. By unamimous vote by my family, its is the prettiest one I own by far!

Corrected sir, thank you.

This one heck of a player ladies and gents, as Orpheus will attest. He gigged it often.

Only keeping my original 4 banger, the old T40 ( which I bought after selling my 'junk' early 70's jazz. blocks binding shimmed up neck after put a BA on w/o rout..... )
