FS: Ibanez Axestar Headless Priced to sell!

Sign in to disble this ad
Selling my black Ibanez Axestar headless bass. This one is a 1985, passive and in black.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, these were Ibanez' Steinberger knock off back in the 80's but they came up with a very unique bass and design. This one has a shaped body which balances nicely. It is super lightweight too and unlike Steinbergers this bass does not need double-ball end strings!

As always I have taken lots of photos with optimal lighting so show any slight wear, etc. Overall this one is in great shape but it has a couple of noticeable dings on the jack side of the bass as shown in the pics below. Overall the bass is a great looker as the other wear is very light and the stuff on the sides is not visible.

This is strung with nylon tapewounds (I believe-- they sound and feel like bright flats and they are black) and will come shipped to you in a guitar gig bag.

Price is $SOLD shipped anywhere in the CONUS.

Thanks.

RBM

Bump for one of the coolest headless basses to come out of the 80s. This one is a great looker and with the tape wounds she thumps!

Thanks!

Last count 116 plus my upright. And I have a bunch of guitars too-- 10 to be exact. Hence these sales. Don't want to let them go but I am literally out of space so I need to churn Some stuff. I can always find these again if I miss em too badly.

BTW, PM sent and I haven't counted, but I have to be over 100. I am reasonably sure it is not 116 yet. Gimme time.

Not a typo. I have a serious passion/problem for collecting old quirky basses. Luckily, I am married to an understanding woman. I have my closet for basses, she has hers for clothes. Keeps the peace.
