FS: Ibanez BTB 1306e Prestige

Hello gents!

I got this bass from Tim (heb2_98) here on TB, and it's been everything he said it would be. It balances well, plays very smoothly, and sounds fantastic!

Unfortunately, I'm in the throes of marrying a Mexican girl, and the government finds any and every excuse it can to charge us hundreds and hundreds of dollars for her visa processing, so this has to move.

(Though, I suppose it's kind of fitting that I'm letting an "Ibanez" go for that cause, right?)

If you have any questions on specs, don't hesitate to ask. $950 will get this to your doorstep in a snug hardshell Ibanez case!

Thanks for looking guys!

Luke

Damn you wikipedia!

I wasn't aware of the history of the name. Although, it does make since now.

You didn't write that on Wikipedia yourself now did you?

On another note, this is probably (besides the ATK) the only other Ibanez bass I care for.

I don't think that he wrote the wiki thing...
Many Japanese brands were of Spanish origin like Greco, Fernandes (Fernandez), Ibanez (the original name should be Ibañez) and so on. They were licensed factories of classic Spanish guitar making until the events made them into the electric market.

that was a joke about wikipedia not being a good source.

Haha, yes, HappyFace got the reference. Selling a hispanic brand-named bass to play for a hispanic fiancee's visa. My humor is too subtle...

I used to have this bass (sold it to Tim). It really is a great bass...sometimes I miss it. Those photos even look familiar too (my original ones). I've played other BTBs in stores after I sold this one, and it definitely plays better then any of them.

Got your PM and replied. Looks like this one is heading to Will once we get the details worked out.
