For Sale: Ibanez Gary Willis GWB35 Fretless 5 String

Originally purchased from fellow TB'er jasper383 a little over a year ago. I've not played it more than 2 hours since buying it so it needs to move on to a better home.

Bass is in near mint condition - cannot find a scratch or ding to report & plastic is still on the electronics cover. Comes w/a functional but old/beat up hard case (see pics).

$680 new. Asking $450 shipped to the lower US 48 states. NO TRADES.

Some specs:

Neck: 3pc GWB neck
Neck Type: GWB
Body: Basswood body
Frets: Fretless
Fingerboard: Ebonol
Inlay: Off-Set White Dot
Bridge: B105 bridge
NeckPU: SFR-GWB custom pu
EQ: EQB-GWII eq
HW Color: BK
Color: BKF: BLACK FLAT

Some pics:

Thanks for checking it out. Hit me up if you're interested.

Peace - Benjamin

Thanks for the interest. I'd venture a guess at it weighing just at or under 8lbs. Very light considering the basswood body.

Yes, it is 34" scale.

String spacing, from Ibanez, has it at 16.5mm at the bridge: GWB35 Detail

You should double check that, I believe all the newer GWBs are 35" scale (which is the orgin of the bass name, GWB35).

BTW, these are great basses, I have the GWB-1.

According to both the Japanese and American Ibanez sites, this bass is 34" scale:

This still available? I played one at NAMM today and really liked it. What was unbelievable though was the GWB1005NTF!!!!! Sheezis what an awesome axe. But I'm not going to shell out 3 grand for one. Going back tomorrow to try them again.
