FS - Ibanez Prestige BTB 1305E 5 string with HSC

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm selling my beautiful BTB 1305E Prestige in like new condition. The case has the normal bumps and scrapes, but the bass has no flaws that I am aware of.

I just put on a brand new set of DR Sunbeams which sound fantastic.

I like the BTB and it was my first bass, so there is some sentiment to it, but I find I like a passive tone better and I've been playing my G&L a lot more. The tones you can get out of this bass are amazing, but like I said, I like the old "thumpity thump" of my G&L with flats. Just more my old school speed.

$675 shipped to the Cont. US.

Ibanez BTB1305E

The Ibanez BTB1305E Prestige, 5-String Bass Guitar, Flame Maple Top, Natural Flat,
including Ibanez Case. Wonderfully dynamic 5-string electric bass with Bartolini Custom
pickups and EQ.
The Ibanez BTB1305E Prestige series five-string bass guitar is packed with professional
features including a neck-thru construction, flamed maple top/mahogany/maple back wing
body and deeper cutaways, enhancing playability and delivering perfect balance.
BTB basses take the traditional BTB formula--massive body and substantial neck-- and
move it forward. BTBs continue to have the right mix of select woods and high-tech

5-piece 'neck-thru' BTB5 maple/bubinga neck, a rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot
inlays and 24 medium frets. The MR-4 bridge keeps the tuning stability rock solid.
The Ibanez BTB 1305E also features Bartolini Custom pickups and onboard 3-band eq.
Bartolini pickups provide deep, warm tones while retaining treble emphasis.
The Bartolini active 3-band EQ features fully independent bass, treble, and mid controls
and a mini switch for quick mid-frequency adjustments of 250Hz, 500Hz and 1kHz.
The BTB1305E delivers all the quality you expect from Ibanez at the right price.

This is one of the nicest basses Ibanez has ever made. Every time one pops up, I have money tied up somewhere else. I know I say it alot, but this is a bass that I could really see me buying if it doesn't move quickly.

Wow, great price for a fantastic bass. I had the 1306E once upon a time, and I really regret letting it go.

Good luck with your sale!

It is a killer bass. I am very torn and really hate to see it go, but I simply don't play it much. A bass unplayed is a worthless bass. I'd rather see it go to a good home where it can make beautiful music versus being decoration in my practice space.

Time for my allotted 24hr bump.

Bass is still here. Resting comfortably in it's case waiting for a new home.

Bump for a great bass. If you're a BTB lover, this is the premier model. I don't think Ibanez has made a Prestige BTB since this one.
