FS: Ibanez Prestige SR1005 EFM

SOLD! Well, a bass I've been looking for has come up on the 'Bay and I would love to get it but need to sell something. So I'm putting my top of the line Ibanez Prestige SR1005 EFM up. This is 34" scale (comfy but a GREAT 'B' string). Maple/Bubinga neck-through with Bartolini USA pickups and electronics. Maple body wings with quilted/flamed maple top. Probably around 9 lbs. and very comfortable to wear for long periods. This bass is in excellent condition and the playability is incredible. Super low action and an ultra-stable neck. OHSC included.
I am putting this great bass up for a very limited time. If the bass I want sells, I'll keep this one and lock the thread. So... Sold! plus Fedex shipping (these currently sell for 1300.00). Let me know if you are interested or have questions.
Thanks,Tom

I had an SR905 (same body & neck shape) and it was an extremely comfortable bass. My only gripe with it was the electronics (Bart MK1 pups and pre) which are much improved on the Prestige series instruments.

For $800 this is a fantastic bargain.

Good luck with the sale

Bumperoo.

This bass is now on the 'Bay but I would end the auction for a TBer.

This is a seriously great playing instrument and the USA Bart setup rocks.

Lowered Price!

Now on the 'Bay for 699.00 opening bid, 799. BIN. Killer deal, folks. Make a reasonable offer and get a comfy bass that plays like butter!

Is the back of the body on this model sculpted out? Also, does the monorail bridge make the string spacing any wider/narrower than the typical SR series basses?

All Prestige series basses are currently MIK.

Since I haven't really played many other SR basses (other than trying out some in stores), I can't accurately compare the string spacing but fairly close spacing seems to be common on SR basses. More than likely, the specs are on the Ibanez website, as this is a current model. As far as the back being sculpted out, if you mean like a Spector then I'd say no. The pic of the back of the bass in this thread should give some idea of what it is like.
