Up on the block is a fair condition Ibanez SR885 from the early 2000s era. It has the vari-mid EQ, and higher-end proprietary active humbuckers. The neck is nice and fast, and the B-string is quite tight and focused, an anomaly with Soundgear basses. It also avoids the obnoxiously zingy tone that the lower-end Soundgears seemed to be plagued with. The bass is quite light and comfortable to play.
There is some mild cosmetic damage, mainly buckle rash and some pick wear. I tried to capture that in the pictures.
This is a very solid bass that I would love to be able to keep, but I just don't have any justification for keeping a five-string around the house, since I play drop-tuned fours with my band, and six-strings at church.
