FS: Ibanez SR990

]Up for sale is a fairly rare SR 990. Made in the Fujigen factory from 1998-1999. Very high quality build as is usual from this Japan factory. Everything I've read says that the fretboard is wenge. This one looks like rosewood. Neck is currently set up straight with low action. Truss rod turns and adjusts as it should. No issues with the electronics. Minor rash on back of body shown in pics.

Ships in a very nice padded gig bag. NO TRADES.

Looking for 420.00 shipped. SOLD 48 Only. Prefer a USPS money order.

Not too fond of Ibanez, but I like the look of finished wood. With it's small body and skinny neck, the SR990 is tops in my book.
Very Nice Bump!

It's very brown. I would be interested if it were a 5 string. These are well made and have a nice combination of woods.

I personally love s**t brown... I just already have too many basses in various poopy hues. And I'm not a big fan of oil finishes. But this is a cool bass, and someone should buy it.

If you don't like the price, color, or condition just move on... or PM the seller with your comments. I've seen this done to a lot of for sale threads not just mine and it's just not the right thing to do. Learn some etiquette.

From the TalkBass Classifieds Rules and FAQ

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should members disrupt sellers' threads by posting challenging, derrogatory posts, or in fact post anything that is not either directly related to purchasing the item advertised or at the very least specifically complimentary, to the seller or the item being sold. To do otherwise is to risk a trolling infraction.

These threads are NOT discussion threads. Your opinion is irrelevant and unwelcome unless -specifically- asked for.

There are -thousands- of items up for sale on the tb classifieds. If you don't like a particular seller, or a particular item, don't post about it, don't comment about it, don't pm the seller about it. Just move on to something else that more acutely strikes your fancy.

+1 for this awesome bass, I have an sr890 and when setup right these higher end series SR basses play almost as nicely as a boutique bass. I've only played a couple basses that felt nicer than my 4 string SR and one of those is a Ken Smith.

If I wasn't saving up for a 5 string Ken Smith I'd be all over this bass.
