This baby is back for sale. I am not really a fan of single pickup basses, but I love the color so much that I sent it to Pat Wilkins so he could replicate the color on one of my other basses. He did a phenomenal job. But now the Ibanez is up for sale again.
This is a year 2002 made-in-Korea Ibanez SRX400 in the coolest color ever invented:
martini olive green sparkle. Anybody who knows anything about the "SR" series of Ibanez basses knows they have the fastest most comfortable necks ever made. The unique color and pearly retro pickguard make this thing look awesome.
It is in really good shape. There is one tiny thumbnail sized flaw on the back of the body contour. I tried to photograph it but it's barely noticeable. A few other minor scratches here and there. Overall in great shape. Will likely need a setup/neck tweak as the action is pretty high.
I ordered a replacement chrome B100 bridge from Ibanez. It's shiny and flawless. I still have the original "cosmo black" bridge that I will include, if you want it, but it's a little smudgy/spotted. The original cosmo black tuners are included. I replaced the knobs with chrome push-on knobs.
Ibanez SRX400 Features:
* Body Material: Soft Maple (weight is about 9.4 lbs)
* Neck Material: 3 PC Maple
* Neck Scale: 34"
* Number Frets: 24
* Fret Type: Medium
* Fingerboard: Rosewood
* Inlay: Pearl Dot
* Bridge: B100
* Hardware Color: Cosmo Black
* PFR-AL alnico magnet pickup w/ PHAT II active bass boost
* Controls: Volume and tone
Everything about this bass is cool. It looks awesome, is easy to play, and has a nice fat sound.
No hard case, but I will try to scrounge up a standard gig bag for protection during shipping.
$150 + shipping if you buy before Saturday lower 48. Money order or Paypal preferred.
E-mail or PM if interested. I prefer e-mail.
