If I didn't just recently find a second one of these in even
better shape, I would NOT be letting this one go.
Beautifully bound CiJ Fender Aerodyne Jazz with the sought after standard Jazz / "non-Strat" output jack. The black w/ cream binding, recessed bridge, and bass & treble side contours really set this bass apart from the pack. The CiJ fit and finish are superb and it weighs in at a comfy 9.35 lbs (9 lbs, 5.6 ozs).
The only issue that I noticed, is some paint checks on both sides of the Split-P PUP and the PUP cover is cracked on the treble-side edge. The closeup pics make it seem kinda gnarly, but in reality, you'd be hard pressed to notice these even a foot away. Split-P PUP covers are only a couple bucks if the crack bothers you.
Other than that, the finish is gorgeous. The binding is beautiful, the headstock is mint, the setup on the neck is right on the money, and the intonation is dialed in perfectly. Strung with fresh EB Regular Slinkies. This plays like butter and sounds thunderous. P-Bass rumble with the versatility and comfyness of a Jazz all wrapped up in stunning aethetics!!!!!!
I picked this up about a month ago and it shipped without a case. I'll throw in a genuine Fender soft-sided hard shell case and ship this anywhere in the ConUS for
$675 $500!
Only trade I'd be interested in at the mo is a
Godin A4.
