Lightbulb FS - Jerry Jones Longhorn Bass w/case

Sign in to disble this ad
A very cool and fun bass that just doesn't get played nearly as much as she should.

I bought the bass used roughly 5 years ago from a shop on the south shore. The bass didn't come with a case, so I contacted Jerry Jones and bought the appropriate new-old-stock hardshell case from him, which is included.

It plays fine, but I believe the pots need to be replaced - they're scratchy/static-y and I don't notice an audible difference when tweaking the tone knob.

I've got a box ready to ship.
UPDATED PRICE - $500 shipped to continental U.S.. (paypal or postal money order)

Thanks for the friendly bump and kudos, E-K.

Also everyone, I just noticed that I only uploaded small/thumbnail sized photos - my mistake!

Bump

I have this exact same bass, same color too. JJ's build quality is stellar. Records like a dream. Sits in a track as well as any P or J, but in it's own way. If you need a short scale, hollow, retro vibey bass, these are as good as it gets. 500 is a steal for this.

Try a longhorn at some point and see what you think of it - you might be surprised and find that the scale isn't an issue.

BUMP for a very nice bass. I have one and it is the one I play the most, almost always get comments about what a great looking bass, what kind of bass is that etc. Plus she sounds great! I payed quite a bit more than this for mine used, this is a good deal and you don't see them come up for sale that much, especially at this price. Good luck with the sale.
