Sold

OK. I've hemmed and hawed enough on this and have decided to reduce the price to my bottom line of $3,400.

At this time, I'm really not looking for a trade. Thanks,

It's a great, great bass and the only reason I'm selling it is because it simply does not get played and it's driving me nuts to have it just sit there doing nothing.

Specs:
Body - Etimoe
Top - Burl Black Poplar
Neck - 35" Maple / Wenge with Ebony fingerboard
Pickups - Jerzy's own JeDXS Split Singles
Preamp - Aguilar OBP-3 with mid frequency select switch , active / passive switch and full time passive tone control.
Bridge - Jerzy;s own design, made by Jerzy
Tuners - Gotoh
Weight - Just shy of 10 pounds

A remarkable bass.
Ships with Ultralight case.

Thanks for looking.

Wow. Simply wow.
I'm done buying basses, but for the cat who wants a 35" fretted 5 - what an incredible instrument. Bump for a bass that raises the front of my jeans.

Played one of these over at the ATL bass gallery recently. I don't think I've ever touched a better feeling and sounding bass. This one in particular is one of the nicest looking jerzys I've seen.

If I could by this bass from a country within EU, I would by it right now :-) ... But at 3400 + 30% in Tax, it just is too much.

You never play this? It's kind of like having a playmate wife and not shagging her. Just my two cents

Hey! Tell me about it. It is frustrating as hell.

It seems that the need for bassists in my neck of the woods is far less than it is for guitarists. (weird, right?)

I play with 3 different groups and in each case, I'm either on guitar to start with or have been asked to play guitar.

. . . the messed up part is, I'm just an ok guitarist. This makes me think I must really stink on bass if these groups want me to play guitar instead.

In any case the end result is, I have this great bass that doesn't get used, hence the sale.

Thanks for the offers, and keep em coming.

Mine gets played. Yes it IS so beautiful that I don't want to put a scratch on it, but it BEGS to be played. The tone is unmatched, IMHO. As a matter of fact I would stand on a podium and announce to the world that it is my favorite bass of any that I've owned or played.

(Thanks, Dan! )
