FS: Kinal MK-B five string

The time has come for me to sell a bass that is not receiving the love that it deserves. Mike Kinal makes fantastic basses up here in Canada.
The body is Korina with a Walnut top. The fingerboard is Ebony on a Maple neck. 34.5" scale. Bartolini pick-ups through an Aguilar pre-amp.
There are a few dings around the input jack and around the edge of the headstock. I can put up some pics tomorrow.
This bass has a very smooth deep sound to it.
I am asking $1350, shipping included in Canada. I will need to split the cost of shipping to the States.
I can include a hard or soft case.
I am not looking for trades at this time, but, could be tempted with older Traynor heads (YBA-1, YBA-3), lower powered Ampeg heads (V-4, V-2), effects pedals (some fuzz, envelope, low-pass filters)... The only bass that is of interest to me is a thunderbird short-scale.
Thanks, please send me any questions.

These are really great basses. I had one get away from me last year. Still scratching my head over that one.

Gorgeous bass. When I sell my two for sale I'll either wind up with another Kinal or another Sadowsky.

Thanks for the kind words. This is a great bass.
If I was in a studio regularly, this bass would stay in my possession, but for my gigging life of bars and clubs, I reach for my beat-up old faithful jazz bass.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get a weight of the bass yet.
The string spacing at the bridge appears to be 18.5 mm, I want to double check that in day-light just to make sure.
I've added some photos of the dings near the input jack, and the headstock. I think they look worse in photo than they seem in real life (although I may be biased...)
Also, I added some photos of the width of the body. It looks like one main piece of korina, with the walnut on top, with a thin layer, perhaps a veneer of korina then walnut on top of that.

Dunno know if that bass is still on the block, but I'll say this about Mike Kinal's work - the guy is a superlative luthier. I own or have owned a lot of top end basses (F, Roscoe, Dingwall, Elrick, Sadowsky), and I'll put Mike's instruments alongside any of them. At half (or less) the price.
