For sale: 2009 Nordy VJ5 with a 5A Koa top, Alder body, Brazilian RW fboard (upgrade), Nordy Big Single pickups, Nordy 3 band preamp. Awesome maple neck with satin finish. Control layout is: Master vol (active/passive push-pull), Blend, Passive Tone, Treble (boost/cut), Mid (pull to shift mid freq), Bass (boost/cut). Weight is ~ 9 1/2 pounds. The instrument is as near to mint condition as can be. Comes with a really nice Mono case gigbag.
The bass is 34.5" scale and really has a low-mid presence that cuts through any mix. Just had pro setup and new stainless steel DR High Beam roundwounds done two days ago. This is a truly exceptional instrument. $2400.00 firm. Sorry - Conus only.
Some pics:
Reason for sale: As usual, something else popped up that I've had my eye on for a while so, last in first out. If the other instrument sells before this one, I reserve the right to pull this ad.
