I need to get some cash free to finish getting gig equipment, so this one's got to go. This is a black Forum neck-thru bass. The neck and headstock is bound, and the binding is in good shape for it's age, with no chips. The finish is in very good condition for its age, which is about 24 years old. The finish has thinned some and has some pick swirls, but there are no issues. It comes loaded with Spector branded PJ pickups, which probably mimic EMGs. The preamp is the copy of the US Hazlab circuit, and it's pretty decent. Controls are volume, blend, bass boost, and treble boost. I replaced the retainer on the headstock. It helps hold the strings in place in the nut so that they don't jump out and potentially chip the nut. The nut has been replaced due to the original being chipped and a little lower than I like. I do have the original I can send. I also added a hipshot detuner to the E string. the original Schaller tuning peg is also included. The bass comes with the original padded case, but I also bought a Stagg hard bass case, which is also included. The bass sounds and plays great...I just have to free some funds for other things.
CONUS shipping only via UPS. Due to the upgrades, I am asking SOLD $300 SOLDshipped in CONUS. If any questions, please ask. Pictures coming shortly.

I had one in black like yours. I still have a lefty version. BTW if yours still has the hazlab pre it is Vol/Vol/Bas/Treb, not blend....
The Forum is a great sounding, nice necked unit. Although I don't use it as my main bass, it is very well built and will probably be around for years to come.

I could have sworn that back knob acted more as a blend than a volume...it's a great bass, I just have a Spector 5 in my crosshairs, lol. Thanks for the info.

and thanks for the shout-out on the Charvels. Yet another company like Kramer who's popularity died off after the 80's, but all those units are still floating around and never lost their appeal to those who like the necks.

Assuming I can't ship it for $25, I'm already taking a loss on the price paid, let alone the upgrades, but it needs to move.
