FS: pre-Fender 1989 Kubicki EX-Factor Yellow $1395.00 shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is a 1989 (pre-fender according to Brian Barrett @ Low End bass shop)Kubicki Ex Factor Bass guitar. It is in really good shape . It has some slight checking on the top that will not show up in pictures and a very small piece of paint missing around the neck joint area. HAS 18 VOLT ELECTRONICS. Recently had the bridge reworked by Kubicki. I just had it set up by my tech. String action is low and everything works as it should. $1395.00 PRICE REDUCTION!!!!!!!!!

Hot! The one thing that keeps me from getting one of these (or other headless/headless-ish basses) is that I can't hang 'em on my slatwall hangers I'm so in love with. I don't intend to hijack the thread, but is there a solution for that ? Besides a stand on the floor, obviously...

Yes, there is. They do make slat wall hangers for guitars that hold the it in a semi-horizontal position. The body is cradled much like a floor stand.

There ya go!

Wow, I typically hate all modern basses, and am pretty much a standard Fender guy, but that - I like. If I had the dough, I'd hit it.

One of the best basses I've played, and I have had one for many years now. I'm not alone either........

Few are not happy.
Those that are, wish Phil made the ex factor with 5 strings.

Very comfy and should suit any style or technique.
I was not equally impressed with the same instrument with a fretless, but the fretted basses with that nice 1/16 maple neck are really good.

Pardon the continued hijack, but I put my Steinies up on my slat wall with one at the bridge, one at the top of the neck, as seen below.

I'm increasingly tempted. Someone go buy my fretless jazz bass, already!

Kubicki

Have had some decent offers but really need the $$$$ to payoff a recent un-expected purchase from Guitar Center.
