This is a 2008 44-02 with Lakland electronics. She is nice and light...8.5 pounds by my scale which rounds to the nearest half pound. I bought this bass as a compliment to my 55-02, but I just seldom play it. I'm selling this to help fund another Lakland 5 string purchase, which will be my 10th Lakland in the last 2 years. (Yes, I'm one of those guys).
No dents or issues with this bass that I can detect. I think I'm the second owner. The strings were really low when it came to me, much lower than I like. I raised them up to just below factory specs, and it plays beautifully. There's room to go lower without excessive buzzing for sure.
Holiday season pricing here because everyone's funds are tight. This one is priced to move quickly.
