If you are considering the ultra-versatile 44-02, you may want to dwell on this one. Its the 4th that I have owned, and the best in terms of looks and tone. Its in mint shape. Cant find a ding.
Tort guard is NOT screwed in, not even taped: stays put with tight friction fit. Removable in a few seconds.
LH3 system is great (esp mini switch for mid eq selection). The only thing lacking with the LH3: no treble roll off in passive mode. I had Jim Mouradian professionally install this, thus the extra knob.
