FS: Lakland 55-02 Standard 2002 barts

overall good condition...it is a used bass...there is minor players wear as well ...look at the photos for any other damage and/or wear...There is an area on the front bottom bout near the edge where the bass must have hit something(you can barely feel it in the finish but you can see it if you look at it right...the fingerboard has some wear...great bass..first year of production with the gotoh-like tuners instead of the hipshot. Includes non-original gig bag. $900.00 shipped within continental USA. Contact Marc @ (727)557-5175

This is the do-it-all 5er here. If you play 4s and you need one 5 to cover everything, this is the one. I just got a 2002 4402 off the bay and it's the nicest bass I've ever heard.

It seems like there are a lot of 2002's available lately as opposed to other early 2000-era 4402/5502 Laklands -anybody know why? Random chance? I'm not sure there's any real difference once you get past the pickup change from 2000/2001 until they went to Indonesia in 2008 (other than the tuners noted in the OP). The 2002s sure sound good though.

Ii had a black one back in the day. Great bass. I believe they are real Gotohs. Any trade interest?
