SOLD!

I'm posting this on a whim...I just picked this bass up and I love it, but another bass came up for sale and gas got the best of me.

As the title states, it is a Lakland Skyline series DJ5 in gorgeous LPB. It has great sounding Fralin pups and is strung with Dunlop nickels. It will come with the pictured pickguard as well as white pearloid and standard white pickguards. It also has strap locks and will be shipped in a padded gig bag. It has one small ding on the back of the headstock and a few of the usual minor scuffs from normal use, but nothing noticeable unless you search for them. It has two screw holes for a neck pickup cover but doesn't come with a cover.

I will post more detailed pics later today.

SOLD! $1090 shipped. SOLD!

That's the beauty of it....it can be yours! I'll post pics of the pickguards later today when I get home. It is also gorgeous with the white pearloid pickguard.

This looks like a Skyline, not US. Isn't the Skyline logo noticeable on the headstock?

That's correct. Some were made in Indonesia and some are Korean. This one is Korean.

It is...just thought the ad looked misleading since there was no mention of "skyline" anywhere in it...

Sorry guys, it definitely wasn't my intention to sound shady! It is a Skyline series made in Korea.

Well, for the record, there are no US DJ5s, that's why people don't need to say they are Skylines. Lakland is not yet tooled to make DJ5s in Chicago at the moment.
But... The good news is that they are planning to start offering US DJ5s later this year. So people will have to start being more specific.
Bump for a great bass at a great price!

oh man...I think I now have a reason to try selling my Dunn instead of just trying to trade it.

Free bump for one of my new all-time favorite bass at a very good price.

I am seriously considering selling my Q5 and getting a second DJ5...in this color...with a white pearl pickguard.

Better yet....with three pickguards just in case you get tired of white pearl!

That's a good looking bass. Surely you won't have much trouble moving that.
