******************* SOLD !! **************************
This is an awesome bass, but I have to sell because I found something else and need the cash. Just to mention now, this is For Sale only, no trade offers please.
I bought this a few months ago from another TB'r - when the bass came in, there were a few small electronics issues - a broken wire, loose pots. I took it to my local tech/guru and he completely redid the wiring and checked all the connections, tightened all the pots, smoothed off the sharp fret edges and also did a complete shielding job on the control cavity. {See Ron or Pete at Suburban Guitars for excellent work!}
The bass is a natural Lakland Skyline with maple board, and the previous owner installed Nordstrand Big Single pickups and a Bartolini NTMB preamp (9v). I have owned a stock 55-01 and can testify that the upgrades made to this bass put it in a whole other class as far as tone and sound options, especially with the mid control with 2 selectable center frequencies.
35" scale, 19mm string spacing (perfect for slapping), flat wide neck (like all 55-01/55-02..). Bass will ship in a Gator semi-hard bass case (as I got it). For full disclosure I am mentioning a slight crack in the finish on the body portion at the neck joint. (see pics) Besides that, this thing looks like it is brand spankin' new. (see pics! )
Currently strung with DR Lo Riders.
I wouldn't be opposed to keeping this, but my wife's rule is one in, one out, and we have to keep the other half happy.
$775 shipped CON US, paypal or postal money order accepted. ** SOLD! **
**Pics added below!**
Thanks!

You guys sounded great - could hear you very clearly and loud from the loading station - I caught "Feel The Earth Move", "Saturday In The Park" and a few others.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: May 2006 Location: Buffalo, NY | | | I'll say it again, and I'm sorry if it seems like I'm generalizing, but I've only had bad experiences shipping out of the country, so I am NOT going to deal with it. I know not everyone is the same, but when you've shipped items and had them refused or returned because the buyer didn't figure or want to pay their country's duties on items imported, or even worse, NOT returned because it's held at the border and needs ME to make an extra payment to get it back.... well, you can see how it ruins things for everyone.
**Please note - recent research indicates that using Paypal and not shipping to a PayPal address associated with the account used can open many other cans of worms regarding payment and dispute potential problems. Therefore, I cannot accept payment from one source and ship to another. (ie- Payment from an account out of the country, shipping to someone within the US) I apologize if this upsets any potential buyers.
