Wow, as the owner of the passive version of this bass (including the single-coil/humbucker option), I can't believe this is still here! These are great--the Chis are growly and fatter-sounding than J pups in single mode, and they get really fat in 'bucking mode. Plus, the Plek'd necks are very sweet.
