FS: Lakland Skyline DJ4 Lake Placid Blue

I'm selling off my Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones in LPB.

I originally bought it from another TBer back in June:
http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/r...895012/http://
and he bought it from a TBer before:
FS: Lakland Skyline DJ4 - LPB/RW

Both of these have good references for more info as well.

This bass is from 2003 and is good condition. There are a few nicks and some small scratches on the body. There is a paint gouge down to the wood by the screw hole by the bridge pickup. The neck also has some spots where it has been worn through the finish as well.

When I got it someone in its previous life had used gorilla glue and aluminum foil to shield it. I cleaned all that out and used proper copper shielding. This thing is dead quiet now on stage and that's with me hearing it through IEM. Because of the glue, underneath the pickguard there is some glue spots on the paint.

Pickups were replaced and seem to my best knowledge are rocking Fender Original Jazz pickups. They have the beveled magnets and also they read just over 7.1K on neck and 7.3K on bridge. I also replaced the pots with CTS 250K and orange drop cap .047 value.

Whole thing weighs right at 10 lbs and sounds fantastic. Its a fantastic player but I'm more of 7.25" radius fretboard player and like nitro finishes so I went with a AVRI 62 instead of keeping this.

Selling it for what I got it for - $725 Shipped w/ case and Paypal (case is a crappy molded case that is cracked, functional but more intended to protect it during shipping)

No trades either please, I'm looking for just cash.

some more info that I shared with a TBer:
Hey J, The neck is your standard 1.5" nut for a jazz bass. I would say its a little thinner than the AV62 on it. The frets are good, with a little wear on a few of them but not anywhere near any type of issue with fret buzz or other issues with frets. The truss rod works great, I switch between flats and rounds and had no issue tweaking back and forth. I really loved everything about how this bass handled, balanced, felt and played but I really like having the 7.25" radius since my main P bass is that as well. Plus, I'm a sucker for nitro paint jobs. The lakland is really beautiful though, the blocked and bound neck is done really amazingly.

Bump for a stupid crazy awesome deal on this bass. I've had a couple of these and the only problem I've run into is the noisy stock electronics. This with the fixes done would be killer.
